I believe its worth meditating about our connection and relationship with nature. To tune in, so to speak, and listen for a subtle message(s) from nature. To spend time developing an understanding that everyone is a teacher, every experience is a lesson, and everything is a reflection of your true nature, your Self... or in other words, how we actually aren't separate from that which we perceive.
Include in your weekly routine a few minutes for meditation on the subtleties in nature, and I believe we will start to see the soft grace of a butterfly & the thorny defenses of a rose in us as well. Over time these lessons weave their ways into our lives, and become integrated into our being, the way we act, speak, and love. The hope is that once we understand our own individual nature, following the laws of nature, that we start to behave in harmony with these laws, for the benefit of all of nature.
To behave in accordance with these laws also means we experience joy when others are happy, with no envious thoughts of profit; we express love to each other in ways that spread joy, health, and love to ALL beings, not favoring one over another; & we cultivate a loving speech that emphasizes the importance of deep listening, instead of worrying about convincing others of the way we see the world.
